Eagles beat Nomads 34-29 in 10s league opener

Both sides started the encounter running a lot and producing a very watchable game of rugby. At the 1st break, Eagles and Nomads were tied with 2 tries each... and a very low tackle count! Better support and defense allowed a new-look Nomads side to end one try up at the 2nd break. With better fitness and their trademark never-let-go attitude, the Eagles managed to score twice in the last period and seal a well-deserved 34-29 first victory.

Good to see last year's Live Match fighters Paul and JJ go at it again, this time wearing the same colors. Chicken's knees are back in the tape and on the run, come on the Manok. Another strong performance by young Carl was to be noted, so was the dire need for a big collective fitness push in the next few weeks.
